# /old

Runs any command overridden by a Better Command (to deal with the problem of overriding commands). Basically the opposite of /bc

## Syntax

`/old <command>`

## Arguments

`<command>` [Long string](/better-commands/data-types.md#long-string)

Specifies the command to run (such as `/give` or `give`) and its arguments

## Result

Returns the result of the command.

## Examples

`/old giveme default:dirt`

`/old old /old /old old /old /giveme default:dirt`

Both of these examples give the executor `default:dirt`
